Description Ulrich Windl 2005-08-16 07:15:13 UTC
In YaST's partitioner, when a partition is flagged for formatting (letter 'F'),
the whole line should be highlighted in red, because with many partitions is
easy to overlook that (and you'll loose data that way).
Likewise when changing or deleting a partition, the old partition's
configuration should also be displayed in a red line (just think of "diff -u"
;-)), because it will be gone afterwards.
Note: In the installation overview deleted and formatted partitions are
displayed in red already.

Yast UI doesn't allow to set colors in a table. The only way would be to swich
to rich text (similar to installation proposal).

I'm not sure if it's worth of doing that, the overview (which is alwayes seen by
user before starting an installation) already contains red items.

As Ladislav already said this is currently not possible. And also
displaying the old partitions is maybe more confusing that illustrative.

Maybe for some future release.

The commit action overview fills that purpose.
