Description Ulrich Windl 2005-08-16 07:26:45 UTC
In KDE, when double-clicking Ogg/Vorbis files, RealPlayer is launched, but
RealPlayer cannot play Ogg/Vorbis.
Comment 1 Stephan Kulow 2005-08-16 08:25:11 UTC
that's a RealPlayer bug then. Maybe you really have a problem with your oggs
not the tools :)
Comment 2 Ulrich Windl 2005-08-16 08:47:02 UTC
My Vorbis files were created with SuSE Linux, and "ogg123" plays them just fine.
Now do you need an Ogg/Vorbis file to test? I guess not.
Comment 3 Stanislav Brabec 2005-08-16 09:19:51 UTC
"realplay /opt/kde3/share/sounds/KDE_Desktop_1.ogg" plays for me without any
problem. realplay-kde, too.

But we should improve realplay-kde wrapper to not call kfmclient for absolute
paths to local filesystem.
Comment 4 Ulrich Windl 2005-08-18 09:23:24 UTC
I found out that realplay can play Ogg/Vorbis once I kill "knotify". See bug
#104078.
