Description Michal Marek 2005-08-17 13:49:32 UTC
tarl should list filenames in broken archives, but it doesn't
event work with correct ones:

test@pixl:/tmp> tar cf - ~/ | tarl
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names

test@pixl:/tmp> rpm -q tarfix tar
tarfix-1.0-815
tar-1.15.1-8
test@pixl:/tmp>

The same happens when I try to extract a file using targ. Maybe those
tools are too old and don't understand the format GNU tar uses (but
I can test any other tar(1) implementation ATM).
