Description vasanth rajan 2005-08-17 14:01:23 UTC
Got a gigabyte PS/2 optival scroll mouse. In the installation process itself
could not use the mouse. After the installation in the GUI when i click once or
twice the mouse cursor moves to the upper right corner of the scrren and statys
there. In KDE the left click pops up the desktop menu but could not move the
mouse pointer. This is the same case with Ubuntu,Mandriva. The same mouse works
well in Windows as well as 2.4 kernels.Googled and got info like the 2.6 kernel
got some issues with psmouse.c.

Yes, it's for me. Can I get some more info about the system? 'dmesg' output,
/proc/bus/input/devices contents, xorg.conf mouse sections ...
