If Sax2 is run on my NetVista with i845 chipset (currently known as 
f16@suse.de), Sax2 always reprobes the hardware. ms says this is caused by a 
bug/problem in hwlib. 
 
The error displayed is: 
 
no such hardware item: _Znp.wpF33lVoW4B

The unique_id -> udi transition made a change in sax2 necessary.
