The YaST2 control center menubar entry "Edit/Search" is missing trailing 
ellipsis as this action asks first for further input before actually 
happening.

Likely too late for any text changes.

Post text freeze - this would break translations. 
 
Anyway, this specific button is a border case whether or not to use that 
ellipsis.

Button? What button? I'm talking about the "Edit/Search   F3" menu entry. Not  
about the "Search" button within the dialog next to the "Cancel" button. And 
the menu entry isn't by far a border case.

Right, that button got removed. Anyway we do have text freeze.
