Last modified: 2020-01-16 13:49:19 UTC
In The Sleuth Kit (TSK) 4.4.2, opening a crafted ISO 9660 image
triggers an out-of-bounds read in iso9660_proc_dir() in
tsk/fs/iso9660_dent.c in libtskfs.a, as demonstrated by fls.

Upstream is working to resolve this and is planning to incorporate the fix in v2.5 due in early October.
4.5.0 is out, can you proceed bug 1056298 bug 1056299, bug 1056301?
openSUSE Leap 42.3 is still affected by this.

Could you check version 4.5.0 and also update Factory?
This is automated batch bugzilla cleanup.
The openSUSE 42.3 changed to end-of-life (EOL ) status. As such
it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
As a result we are closing this bug.
If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
openSUSE (At this moment openSUSE Leap 15.1, 15.0 and Tumbleweed) please
feel free to reopen this bug against that version (!you must update the
"Version" component in the bug fields, do not just reopen please), or
alternatively create a new ticket.
Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed
during the lifetime of the release.
leap 15.0 and 15.1 still affected
