Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-19 10:31:41 UTC
In the language selection screen with 1280x1024 resolution, on the right and
lower bound the writing is truncated. This looks very ugly.
Comment 1 Stefan Hundhammer 2005-08-19 11:21:47 UTC
This is a tiled background image. It will always be cut off somewhere. This is
how background images work.
Comment 2 Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-19 11:22:50 UTC
Then use an image which does not look so ugly.
Comment 3 Stefan Hundhammer 2005-08-19 11:25:54 UTC
Strange, this had been our KDM background for years. Most people seemed to
like it.

The idea of this image is to provide some "welcome" message in a lot of
languages so every user can feel welcomed. The messages is what this image is
all about.

If you don't like the colors, please ask our graphics people to provide an
image in different colors. I don't have one.

The difference is: kdm used it full screen and does not cut the border.

Then you should scale it like kdm does and not cut it of in the middle of a word.

Irrelevant now with the 11.0 installer redesign.
