icemon: icon in kde desktopmenu missing
Last modified: 2007-07-04 13:27:51 UTC
the icon of the icecream-mointor in the developer section of the kde desktopmenu is missing (just default fallback) /opt/kde3/share/applications/kde/icemon.desktop does not define any
hmm, guess I have none :) Any suggestion?
Hmm, either some funny one, i.e. an Eistuete, or a technical on showing the star view in small scale, but the latter would probably be too hard to identify.
it's not in the default selection and I was unable to convince Ken that it's an easy task :)
I have started, but there is only so many things I can do at once - especially when I am on vacation
Note that the issue is much smaller with 10.1 as we don't display default icons anymore
Back to maintainer of icecream-monitor.
Robert, can you draw an icon for this? icemon is a tracking tool for developers/adminstrators and is not part of our default installation. A screenshot of it: http://ktown.kde.org/~coolo/icemon.png
I realized too late it's called icecream monitor. Would have used an ice cream cone instead. Attached is a bit more conservative icon.

I made a Icecream Icon. Coolo, do you like it?
Matz wants Metall-Ice. Is that drin?
Created attachment 145258 [details] Icecream in cone; more metal like
Hmm, what I meant with metal-like (the Metall-Ice is coolo's interpretation of what I said :-) ) is the form of the highlight spots. The look nice now in the new icon, but I didn't mean that it should be black/white. Can you perhaps apply the current highlights to the color version?
thanks. As already discussed: I picked the icon from #10 to put into KDE SVN.
