Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-20 08:02:56 UTC
Seems there is no possibility anymore to select base selections except
the four offered in the desktop screen. At least I could not find one.

And since the Desktop screen does not use the selection names, but instead
his own one, this is very confusing (since later the one from the selections
are used). This is inconsistent.

Works as designed :-(

On the desktop selection screen, select 'other' and you'll find other base
selections.

Your jokes were already better.

Ever looked at the Code? YaST2 cannot show other base selections
anymore, it even ignores base selections. It has this 4 hardcoded
KDE, GNOME, Minimal with X11 and Textmode selections, which completly
ignore the Name and/or existence of base selections.

It was explicitly decided this way. -> aj

Maybe we'll find a better solution later.
