Description Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-20 08:12:11 UTC
Go during installation to the installation screen with "Overview" and
"Expert".
Change to "Expert".
Change the "Language".
Accept.
You will be back to the overview screen, but now the tab "Overview"
contains the "Expert" settings, no longer the three short one.

Works for me as expected.
Comment 2 Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-21 10:48:20 UTC

Ok, likely we will need the YaST2 logs.
Comment 5 Stefan Hundhammer 2005-08-22 13:25:11 UTC
I have a rough idea why this might be happening. But y2logs would be useful,
of course.

BTW Thorsten, you can make a screen shot simply with the [PrintScreen] key. In
the inst-sys you'll need a USB stick or some other removable media (like a
floppy) to get it to a machine where you can write bug reports, of course.
Comment 6 Jiri Srain 2005-08-22 13:32:19 UTC
The tab should switch in case there is an error which needs to be resolved.
But the tab shuold switch completly, including the header...

Attach the logs, please.
Comment 7 Thorsten Kukuk 2005-08-22 15:37:26 UTC
[PrintScreen] does not work for me most of the time, digikam is much faster
and more reliable.

logs attached (but I had expected that a clear how to reproduce case
is easier to debug).

Does not work for me either.
Comment 10 Jiri Srain 2005-08-23 08:14:31 UTC
The problematic situation is when language gets changed. Then the dialog must
be redawn completly and the correct tab is not selected.

Fixed in SVN, will go to STABLE after Beta3 is out.
