Description Hartmut Meyer 2005-08-20 14:52:21 UTC
konqueror display the German version of www.novell.com

Changing the language (not in konqueror - on the www.novell.com language
selector menu) to English does not have any effect.

This was already not working with 9.3 (and konqueror).

Firefox works fine.
Comment 1 Dirk Mueller 2005-08-22 13:26:38 UTC
ok, it tries to set a cookie for .novell.com, but we parse it as
www.novell.com, and then the javascript stuff on the page explodes.

sounds like an easy fix..

FIXED
Comment 3 Hartmut Meyer 2005-08-23 08:00:26 UTC
Could we have this fixed for 9.3 as well (say with the next needed update of
the effected package)?

It's kind of embarrising that our standard browser cannot correctly display
our own home page ...
Comment 4 Dirk Mueller 2005-08-23 11:26:12 UTC
aj?

another solution would be to fix the website instead. it relies on a very
obscure edge case of RFC2965 (one that was even forbidden in earlier
versions).
Comment 5 Andreas Jaeger 2005-08-23 11:43:34 UTC
If there's another update going out, we could add it, no problem. But I don't
think we should do a release just for this.
Comment 6 Dirk Mueller 2005-08-23 16:08:43 UTC
submitted a package for 9.3
Comment 7 Hartmut Meyer 2005-09-05 15:47:23 UTC
still there with beta4
Comment 8 Dirk Mueller 2005-09-05 21:42:49 UTC
I tested it with a plain b4plus installation, works
