Mozilla Sunbird crashes
Last modified: 2005-08-26 05:56:15 UTC
OS: SuSE Linux 10.0 BETA 1 Platform: AMD Sempron CPU, 1GB RAM, VIA KM400 chipset After installing the OS, and Sunbird 0.2 from Yast repository below: http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-beta1/inst-source/ I launched Sunbird, and it crashed. Segfaulted actually. Here is the log from bash execution: (executed from Konsole, under KDE) ====================================================================== alexey@linux:~/Installs> sunbird (sunbird-bin:11237): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has wrapped in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?) Extension System Warning: Failed to set up default extensions files probably because you do not have write privileges to this location. While you can run Firefox like this, it is recommended that you run it at least once with privileges that allow it to generate these initial files to improve start performance. Running from a disk image on MacOS X is not recommended.*** nsExtensionManager::_disableObsoleteExtensions - failure, catching exception so finalize window can close *** loading the extensions datasource (Gecko:11237): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_toplevel: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed (Gecko:11237): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_event: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed /usr/lib/sunbird/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 11237 Segmentation fault "$prog" ${1+"$@"} alexey@linux:~/Installs>
component firefox (it's almost the same) We fixed some crashers for beta3 and probably we have fixed this one already. So I want to wait until beta3 is out and if it's reproducable there.
maybe this is still the same as 113207 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 113207 ***
