Bugzilla – Bug 106077
installing Gnome after initial installation leeds to unneeded CD changes
Last modified: 2007-01-25 11:05:41 UTC
When I installed Gnome via YaST2 to a fresh installation, all five CDs are needed. However, CD1 and CD5 each contain only one package nessecary for this kind of post-installation and CD2 has to be inserted twice, second time only the python-gnome-extras are installed.
Most people use DVD anyway. But if you provide the y2logs we will look into why CD2 was requested twice - that sounds very strange.

as I mentioned, python-gnome-extra was the single RPM, that was installed from CD2 after CD3
Michael, please have a look.
This is not YOU related, and I'm on vacation for 3 weeks. I don't think it makes sense to assign it to me :-)
