Description Glen Christensen 2005-08-22 15:05:55 UTC
The text-based installation utility is not correctly oriented on my screen.
The left pane is double-imprinted on itself, but the top imprint is offset
with the bottom one, and the right side of the screen is wrapped around to the
left of the monitor (17" widescreen LCD laptop display). Plus, the letters
are not very clear-"B" looks like "D", etc.
I have a NVidia GForce FX Go5600 video card in my laptop (HP Pavilion zd7000)

Please describe exactly what you did and how.
If you have any chance, please attach a screen shot (maybe using a digicam).

In any case, please attach y2logs - see also

Downgrading severity since this seems to happen only in rare cases.
Comment 2 Glen Christensen 2005-08-24 19:40:06 UTC
User error. The person for whom I wrote this defect, created the GRUB entry
manually and omitted the vga setting in the kernel parameters. This is not a
defect.
Comment 3 Glen Christensen 2005-08-24 19:40:35 UTC
Marking as invalid.
