Those messages are not marked for translation. Lukas, please fix this.
ke, aj: it seems that some texts were not marked for the translation: Is there a problem if I mark them now? +("<p>A <i>domain controller</i> allows Windows clients to log in to a Windows domain.</p>") +("<p>The backup controller uses another domain controller for validation. The primary controller uses its own information about users and their passwords.</p>") +("<p>The options available in the configuration dialogs depend on the settings in this selection.</p>") +("<p>A <i>domain controller</i> allows Windows clients to log in to a Windows domain.</p>") +("<p>The options available in the configuration dialogs depend on the settings in this selection.</p>")
Please mark it and send the POT file to me (or attach it here).
Created attachment 48440 [details] Samba-Server POT file
fixed in SVN, package will follow
karl to add .pot file
the POT file is checked in and merging is running.
It looks as if you switched from .ycp to .pm. At least, the previous version submitted by Stefan were based on .ycp.: http://w3.suse.de/~sh/potfiles-2005-08-18/samba-server.pot In some of our translation memory files, also translations for .pm are available. But that's not the case for languages like 'fi'. Now I'm wondering whether YCP or Perl is the right flavor?
ping ;)
YaST Samba Server module has been rewritten from the previous release. I've just taken it over a month ago. A lot of functionality is now available in Perl. I don't know whether I undestand you well.
Thanks - yes, that help. Current .pot is okay and we have translations for all the major languages. Two missing strings are to be translated later.
Only just aware of the issue. We will get patched transaltion in for this in german & Spanish. The Hardcoded issue is resolved. But the localisation issues will be deferred as its too late to get translations for any of the other languages. Deferring to 10.1 as per our process
Kerry, can you take a look at this bug please?
This should be ok now in SuSE10.1 beta3
Fixed for French, Suse10.1, Beta8
Fixed on SL 10.1 Beta 8
