Bugzilla – Bug 1104315
Vibe405: If the title of wiki page includes captial characters, it can't be able to find out
Last modified: 2018-08-17 20:58:12 UTC
Test Environment: Server OS: SLES 15 GM with German Build: vibe-4.0.5-linux_20180807083451.tar Client: win7+Firefox Steps: 1. Login web page of Vibe; 2. Go to a Wiki folder and create one Wiki Topic; 3. Under the Wiki Topic, create a Wiki page and set the title as 'ABC'; 4. In the Find Page field(at the top-right cornor),enter 'ABC' to search. Actual result: Returned 'No pages in this topic'. If enter 'abc' to search, the matched wiki page('ABC') listed.
I could not duplicate this problem with the latest build installed on English system. Just to rule out the possibility of the bug #1101604 contributing to this problem, please retest this with the latest build. If the problem is still persistent, it must be something specific to German system. In that case, please have the test system (on which the problem is duplicated) available for remote ssh access so that I can trouble shoot it there.
Looks like I misunderstood the original defect somewhat. When I type ABC or abc in the "Find Page" field, the type-to-find functionality kicks in and correctly suggests the wiki page with the title ABC. If I select the suggested item, then the UI brings to the entry view of the wiki page ABC. This works for both cases. On the other hand, if I ignore the suggested item (i.e. don't select any) and just hit Enter, then it refreshes the folder view and the result is different. It shows the ABC entry only when the query is abc. This happens on English system as well. I also tested Vibe 3.4, and the behavior was the same as 4.0.5. The fix has been checked in. ssf revision: 24062
This fix is in the Vibe OnPrem 4.0.5 build 20180816130513. open source project revision 24063, and closed source project revision 8394.
