Description Ulrich Lange 2005-08-23 23:06:00 UTC
The install procedure has detected a Lexmark 4200 Series printer and set to "not
configered" status.
To edit this configuration entry is not possible. Edit creates a new entry.
Procedure:
Start Printer Configuration
Mark Line with the printer entry
  Klick Edit
-> a new configuration set is shown
  Klick OK
-> a new entry with Queue Name "unknown" and Model "unknown" is made
the failure is reproducible

if this procedure is done with the entry of unknown Queue Name no additional
entry will be created.

According to your description (Queue Name "unknown" and Model "unknown")
I close it as duplicate of bug #104875

By the way:
Isn't the Lexmark 4200 a multi function device?
Most (perhaps all) Lexmark multi function devices are not supported, see
http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/1998/06/ke_printer-gdi.html
