Description Paul Henshall 2005-08-23 23:07:00 UTC
After initially installing beta1, the grub installation was correctly written to
the partition /dev/hda5, as instructed. I then used this to create a suse.b to
boot from the win2k boot manager. However, on updating to beta 2, the win2k boot
loader in the MBR was replaced.

you really selected update or just installation when booting beta2 cd?

please provide /etc/grub.conf
Comment 3 Martin Lasarsch 2005-09-05 13:50:45 UTC
please retry with beta4 or later. If this will still happen please reopen the
