Description Marcel Hilzinger 2005-08-24 12:14:30 UTC
The default bootscreen, splashscreen and KDE/Gnome backgroud pictures should
all have 24-bit color depth.

Most of the new monitors/graphics card use this display mode.

JPEG artefacte therefore can be seen clearly on each picture.
Comment 1 Kenneth Wimer 2005-08-24 18:24:06 UTC
the bootsplash is 16bit only.

graphics are made at 24bit (and tested at 16bit)

16bit is very important for anyone using 3D accelleration

the jpegs in the bootsplash have been corrected to reduce the artifacts, test this in beta3
