Bugzilla – Bug 112851
Add HTTP Proxy Authentification Option for netinstall
Last modified: 2008-06-25 09:52:26 UTC
I'm really missing the option to enter authentification details when using the HTTP Proxy in the netinstall. Not every HTTP proxy supports anonymous connections :)
Steffen, I think this is something for you.
for next release
bug 105931 is related
suggestion: in this case, i found the way debian asks for the proxy authentification very useful -> http://username:password@ipadress:port one screen, one string, easy to correct for the user and not that hard to use code-wise too same goes for ftp login, but that's a different case
not this release
mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)
Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED. In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
