- right mouse click on the kmix icon  
- select "select channel"  
- choose a channel and click ok 
- logout  
- login 
 
=> old channel is selected

can't reproduce. It saves MasterMixerDevice=4 in kmixrc and uses that on next 
login.

Ok,  MasterMixerDevice=0 does not work.

can you please recheck? it works for me in 10.1, I can switch fine between PCM and Master

Yes, seems to work now. Fine.
