Description Michael Meeks 2005-08-25 14:52:27 UTC
My test machine has ~5 or so 'extra' partitions on it for testing various
installs. Having done a B3 install - the 1st time I log-in I see this huge pile
of tile themself on my desktop - 1 per partition.

Is that really a feature ?
Comment 1 JP Rosevear 2005-08-25 18:11:55 UTC
Are they all in mtab?
Comment 2 Mark Gordon 2005-08-25 18:49:33 UTC
They are. I'm seeing the same thing for the first time in beta3. Funny thing
is, they're typically not mounted. In fstab, these are specified noauto, but
they're mounted regardless, by the user who's logged in.

cmeadors also quotes fejj as saying that g-v-m might somehow be involved.
Comment 3 Federico Mena Quintero 2005-09-22 15:44:13 UTC
This may be a gnome-vfs or nautilus patch in an intermediate state. It doesn't
happen for me with beta4plusplus. Can you please try it with the latest RC4?
Comment 4 Mark Gordon 2005-09-22 17:05:00 UTC
I'm not seeing this any more in RC4 (fresh user). Closing as FIXED.
