Bugzilla – Bug 113002
/etc/init.d/cups stop doesn't stop the cupsd
Last modified: 2005-09-01 09:17:13 UTC
Having beta3 installed on my workstation nelson.suse.de: nelson:~ # /etc/init.d/cups stop Shutting down cupsd done nelson:~ # /etc/init.d/cups status Checking for cupsd: running Klaus told me that the reason is that "killproc" doesn't work. Therefore I assigned it to Werner.
Just fixed a few minutes ago, tell me your hardware and I'll provide a mbuild package.
nelson.suse.de is i386
See ~werner/Export/sysvinit-2.85-49.i586.rpm and report if this works, thanks a lot.
For me it works now (i.e. "rccups stop" actualy stops the cupsd).
