Comment 2 Johannes Meixner 2005-08-26 06:43:37 UTC
Only a guess: Might perhaps be caused by bug #113002 ?
Comment 3 Michal Zugec 2005-08-26 07:56:31 UTC
Thank you Johannes,
I think so - in log there is 'cupsDoRequest error: client-error-not-found'
And yast2-printer module didn't change from beta2 to beta3
Andreas, could you write how it works under beta4?
I suppose it will
Comment 4 Johannes Meixner 2005-08-26 09:50:07 UTC
It seems to have been really caused by bug #113002:
I got 'cupsDoRequest error: client-error-not-found' messages too
when I tried to set up printers in beta3.
After I installed Werner's newest sysvinit package according to
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=113002#c3
the error messages are gone.
Comment 5 Michal Zugec 2005-08-30 09:40:33 UTC
So its caused by #113002
