Comment 1 Danny Al-Gaaf 2005-08-26 07:56:28 UTC
Think it's duplicate of problem from 102960 or maybe hal isn't running in this
case.
Comment 2 Stefan Behlert 2005-08-26 08:03:33 UTC
Hal is running, I have seen the same error here. Reading bug 102960 it looks
strongly as a duplicate. AS soon as you have an updated package I can test
here.
Comment 3 Holger Macht 2005-08-26 09:58:37 UTC
But it seems that these error messages do not only appear during bootup in this
case. So please check if hal is really running and if yes, please attach the
output of lshal.
Comment 4 Andreas Girardet 2005-08-27 00:11:31 UTC
I get the following error during bootup:

udev: run_program: exec of "usr/sbin/hal.hotplug" failed.

Attachement next.

Comment 6 Andreas Girardet 2005-08-27 00:14:34 UTC
Just noticed this

Aug 27 12:04:37 zeus [powersave]: WARNING (initHal:59) could not init hal
library: (null)
Comment 7 Stefan Behlert 2005-08-29 09:30:28 UTC
Andreas, can you test with the next beta if that error is happening again, and
if so, please reopen that bug? I am not convinced that it is fixed...
Comment 8 Andreas Girardet 2005-08-29 09:58:20 UTC
No worries .... consider it done ...
Comment 9 Andreas Girardet 2005-09-01 22:16:06 UTC
Error is gone in beta4
