Description Roger Larsson 2005-08-26 11:34:27 UTC
If when checking media you leave with another CD than the first, like CD5.
You will be promted to "Insert the first installation medium", the first
time I did not get this message - I can not reproduce this...
Anyway press "Cancel"

In the summary you will now see "No Valid Installation media"
use "Back", change to CD1, press "Next"
The installation medium in now detected, but...

"Update Options" says
"Update based on selection "error"" - this message is not marked 'Red'!
"Packages" says
"Conflicts manual needed" or something like this,
this might not show up, mine did due to package "cris_dist"...
  "Packages to Update: 0
   New Packages to Install: 0
   Packages to Remove: 854"

When going on you will have to resolve a strange situation where
everything will be removed...

The right thing to do is to modify the "Update Option" instead.

Requested logs

I went to far but backed to Check Media
where I changed to CD2 (I think).

Cancel the request to insert first media

Summary with "No valid installation media"
backed to Check Media again

Replaced CD2 with the correct CD1

Move forward => removal of all packages.

Went into package handling, backed out

Went into "Update Option" corrected "error" to become "KDE" - working!
"based on error".

As this is happening on 10.0, I'm closing this bug WONTFIX now, please feel free to retest & reopen (in case it's needed) with 10.1 >=Beta9.
