Looking at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/polkit/polkit/blob/master/src/polkitbackend/polkitbackendinteractiveauthority.c#L2382 the file /etc/polkit-1/rules.d/50-default.rules is superfluous as that's the built in default anyways. So better don't install it.
