Bugzilla – Bug 113421
Not enough space on the root directory of USB keys
Last modified: 2006-01-25 01:47:46 UTC
In GNOME, it's impossible to write drag and drop a file in the root directory of an usb key because the "Not enough disk space" message appears. It is possible to create folders and to write inside them, but not files. This doesn't happen under KDE or using the console, so it seems to be GNOME related.
Tried this in the 10.1 betas and it seems ok with a vfat file system. Are you using vfat?
I'm using vfat. The bug only affected GNOME on SuSE 9.3 and the beta of SuSE 10.0. It's absent in the final release of SuSE 10.0. Best regards, Alberto
Excellent, thank you Alberto.
