Description Alex Radu 2005-08-27 09:26:01 UTC
If Klipper is started as a panel applet rather than as a system tray program,
less memory is consumed. I think this would be ideal.

.. on the other side its going to hang kicker if it starts to interact with
huge clipboard selections. not sure I'm gonna like that either..

kde maintainers: any other opinion?

otherwise this is IMHO WONTFIX..

the hanging kicker part is of less interest to me - as klipper hangs X
anyway :)

But I don't like the extra handle, this looks plain ugly ;(

ok, talked again about it: we won't do it in a default installation.
