Description Marcus Meissner 2005-08-29 08:28:42 UTC
my cisco aironet PCMCIA wlan card is not detected.

in previous suses it used the "airo_cs" driver, which is still there.

hwinfo output.

( i loaded airo_cs by hand, it was not loaded before)
Comment 2 Marcus Meissner 2005-08-29 09:06:44 UTC
running:
pccardctl insert
works. But I really wonder how a user should find this.
Comment 3 Christian Zoz 2005-08-29 09:49:45 UTC
Please plug this card into f70.
Comment 4 Marcus Meissner 2005-08-29 09:54:14 UTC
done.
Comment 5 Christian Zoz 2005-08-29 10:19:59 UTC
It is detected. I unloaded everything related on your machine and called
modprobe yenta_socket. The rest was triggered as expected via hotplug events.
airo_cs was also loaded.

Can you reproduce the bug?
Comment 6 Marcus Meissner 2005-08-29 11:13:13 UTC
this works fine now.... what did you change?
Comment 7 Christian Zoz 2005-08-29 11:26:07 UTC
All i changed was the udev log level. 'udevcontrol log_priority=6'
Comment 8 Marcus Meissner 2005-09-06 14:30:51 UTC
is fixed.
