I tried 
lilypond /usr/share/doc/packages/lilypond/input/wilhelmus.ly 
and lilypond /usr/share/doc/packages/lilypond/input/example-1.ly
it displayed lots of error messages and in output pdf (ps is same as pdf)
I don't see dots in stave. 
Some of error messages: 
programming error: Infinity or NaN encountered
warning: accidental `2' not found
programming error: Stencil::moved_to_edge: adding empty stencil.
continuing, cross fingers

The problem is in mftrace. It doesn't generate fonts on i386. On x86_64 it's OK.

I think I found the bug in mftrace, I just need have to wait until
ec-fonts-mftraced rebuilds...

Ok, both ec-fonts-mftraced and lilypond build correctly, lilypond works.
