Last modified: 2005-09-05 08:50:37 UTC
Detailed description: LinuxRC: Network cards: untranslated text Configuration: Suse 10 Build: Beta3 050826 Steps to reproduce: 1. Insert the SUSE Linux Professional 10.0 CD1 CD-ROM. Reboot the machine. 2. Select the "Installation" option. 3. Select the F2 option and select Brazilian Portuguese. 4. After the options have been checked hit Enter. 5. After the initial processes have completed The YaST2 'Installation and System Administration Program' initializes. 6. Click 'Cancel'. A main menu appears. This is the Linuxrc module. 7. Select 'informacao do Sistema' (System Information). 8. Select 'Placas de Rede' (Network cards?). Expected result: all text should be localised. Actual result: "Interface", "Receive", "Transmit", "bytes", "packets", "errs", "drop", "fifo", "frame", "compressed", "multicast", "colls" are untranslated.
These strings will not be translated.
Assigning to yast2-maintainers@suse.de as we cannot find these strings and they probably do not get translated
if this is a LINUX RC reassigning to snwint@suse.de
It's the contents of some /proc file. It won't get translated.

John, I get your point. ;-) There's no need to interpret the one-report-per-bug rule so strictly. 'system information' shows various system logs. There's no point to translate them.
