Description io noci 2005-08-29 15:01:08 UTC
During manual installation in expert mode, it is not possible to create a LVM on
a newly created software RAID1.
After creating two software-RAID 1( on the first resides /) pressing LVM shows
an error message about a missing partition of type 0x8e or 0x83. The possibility
of creating a LVM on the second software-RAID has worked in SuSE 9.3

Please check out if this problem is similiar with bugs #112958 (and in this
respect #112913). Further, please provide y2log. Did you use primary partitions
or logicals?
Comment 2 io noci 2005-08-31 06:55:23 UTC
The bug is not similar with #112958 or #112913.
I used two independent ide-discs identically partitioned with two primary
partitions.
i will provide the y2log later today.
