Description Alex Radu 2005-08-29 19:14:25 UTC
On my system, if I view my files and folders in Nautilus and select "Move to
Trash" from the right click menu, the item is just deleted. At the very least,
the trash can remains with no files in it and I have no idea how to recover the
files or folders that were "Moved to Trash".

I have already lost an important folder completely this way and since it does
not appear in the trash, I am lost for a solution.

Solution: look in ~/.Trash

Temporary solution that is. Its.
Comment 3 Mark Gordon 2005-08-29 22:55:22 UTC
In the context of "I have no idea how to recover the files," it's a solution.
There's admittedly still a bug.
