Description Luciano Montanaro 2005-08-30 10:38:21 UTC
The X configuration creates a modeline that does not seem to work for my
monitor. The display seems correctly detected, but the vertical frequency
range seem to be wrong.

The problem is fixed for me by either limiting the VertRefresh to values like
62 Hz or, more easily, by removing the generated modeline for 1600x1200.

Comment 3 Luciano Montanaro 2005-08-30 14:53:58 UTC
I am away from the machine where I found the problem, I will not get there
again for a while. I may be able to get some of the information earlier than
that.

But the xorg.conf file is probably gone, for example.

If it is needed I may try reinstalling on a spare partition.

if possible, please try again with beta4 and provide more information. I will
close the bug for now, please reopen if you still have the problem.
