Bugzilla – Bug 114107
rcnetwork start does not find configured interfaces
Last modified: 2008-07-16 15:47:03 UTC
do beta4 installation with start_shell, install minimal + x11 after install, return to linuxrc and boot into installed system the network driver is already loaded because it was a nfs installation. configure it as dhcp client, assign hostname and domain after yast quits, rcnetwork start runs, but it cant find the already present network interface. ifcfg-eth-id-$MAC looks correct.
a rcnetwork restart later works as expected

May it be a duplicate of bug 112909?
maybe, localtime has to be used on macs.
Did you try beta4plus? Should be fixed now, i don't use timestamps anymore. If fixed, please close.
appears to work.
