Description Olaf Hering 2005-08-30 12:46:06 UTC
do beta4 installation with start_shell, install minimal + x11
after install, return to linuxrc and boot into installed system

the network driver is already loaded because it was a nfs installation.
configure it as dhcp client, assign hostname and domain

after yast quits, rcnetwork start runs, but it cant find the already present
network interface. ifcfg-eth-id-$MAC looks correct.
Comment 1 Olaf Hering 2005-08-30 12:47:49 UTC
a rcnetwork restart later works as expected

May it be a duplicate of bug 112909?
Comment 4 Olaf Hering 2005-08-31 11:00:21 UTC
maybe, localtime has to be used on macs.
Comment 5 Christian Zoz 2005-09-06 14:14:46 UTC
Did you try beta4plus?

Should be fixed now, i don't use timestamps anymore.
If fixed, please close.
Comment 6 Olaf Hering 2005-09-08 20:01:42 UTC
appears to work.
