Description Joachim Werner 2005-08-31 18:33:35 UTC
A new preformatted 256 MB SD card I tried out today was not automatically
mounted. See the attachment for the log.

It seem that the issue is on the file system level. I was able to run the YaST
partitioner and reformat the disk from there. After that it worked fine.

Comment 2 Kay Sievers 2005-08-31 19:40:54 UTC
so we can't reproduce the failure now?
Comment 3 Kay Sievers 2005-09-13 10:26:29 UTC
Joe, the card is formatted and works now, right? The original non-working
format does no longer exist and you don't have another card that doesn't work,
right?
Comment 4 Joachim Werner 2005-09-15 13:33:53 UTC
Kay, yes that's right. But I could try to get hold of a card that spots the
same problem.
Comment 5 Kay Sievers 2005-09-15 13:51:42 UTC
That would be nice. I would like to keep a zip'd "dd" image of the card for my
test collection.

Please reopen, if we find such a card again. Thanks!
