expert partitioner: importing mountpoints from older systems finds /etc/fstab on /dev/emil
Last modified: 2005-09-05 16:02:36 UTC
During initial installation in the expert partitioner, importing mountpoints from existing system, the partitioner finds /etc/fstab on /dev/emil. (I have 4 existing installations on this disk, two of them were found having /etc/fstab on /dev/emil, the two others listed the correct devices.)
PLease attach y2log files.
Created attachment 48434 [details] y2logs.tar.gz
Created attachment 48435 [details] screenshot 1 (/dev/emil)
Created attachment 48437 [details] Screenshot 2 (/dev/hda10)
Created attachment 48438 [details] Screenshot 3 (/dev/emil)
Created attachment 48439 [details] Screenshot 4 (/dev/system/slash)
Screenshot 1 and 3 show the problem. However, I can't see /dev/emil in the y2logs so I attached the screenshots that you believe me.
Thnanks for the detailed information. Will have have a closer look next week, when I am back from Prag.
Problem was caused by entries with LABEL= in /etc/fstab. Will be fixed in RC1.
