When booting without framebuffer (text-only mode) and the monitor cannot be
detected correctly (e.g. bnc cable), sax2 opens its configuration screen in 640x480.

That itself is pretty ok, but currently sax is almost completely unusable in
this resolution, because there is to much wasted (read: empty) space and too
large buttons / popup lists.

One possible easy, though not perfect, sollution would be to open a 800x600
virtual desktop, if a screen smaller than that is about to be opened.

I think this is different, because the startup dialog is perfectly visible. It's
just the layout of the main window.
