Description Harry ten Berge 2005-09-02 06:41:13 UTC
The syslinux package as used in SUSE Pro and OpenSUSE is of version 2.11.

However, syslinux 3.10 is already available, and in the meantime a lot of
bugfixes has gone in. These fixes are/could be important for some machine BIOSses.

Could 115204 be a duplicate of this?

Comment 3 Steffen Winterfeldt 2005-09-05 09:15:20 UTC
syslinux 3.x has had serious problems with disk accesses due to do the core
rewrite HPA did in that area.

I'll update for the next release.
