Description Stefan Dirsch 2005-09-02 13:31:44 UTC
After selecting GNOME as installation (instead of KDE, Minimal+X11, Minimal)
I get the following conflicts:

banshee-engine-gst/banshee-engine-helix require banshee
banshee requires libdbus-glib-1.so.1

libdbus-glib-1.so.1 is not available.

Gary, it was a requested by you to replace banshee in Gnome selection with
banshee-engine-gst + banshee-engine-helix.
Comment 1 Stefan Dirsch 2005-09-03 16:41:01 UTC
IMHO this is at least major ...
Comment 2 Andreas Jaeger 2005-09-04 05:09:29 UTC
Stefan, could you add all three packages?
Comment 3 Stefan Dirsch 2005-09-04 07:20:45 UTC
I can add banshee again (which makes the requested change by Gary senseless),
but what about libdbus-glib-1.so.1? It's in dbus-1-glib, which was on Beta4,
but could not be resolved !?!
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2005-09-04 07:40:46 UTC
Let's add banshee and dbus-1-glib.

Why could it not get resolved? It worked for me during my gnome test install
without a problem.
Comment 5 Stefan Dirsch 2005-09-04 07:46:15 UTC
Don't know. I did an installation via SLP.
Comment 6 Stefan Dirsch 2005-09-04 07:59:53 UTC
dbus-1-glib is even in Minimal. I already added banshee to Gnome deps. No need
to change anything in selection then. Assuming this will be fixed for RC1.
