hmm.. the only interesting error message I see is undefined symbol: init_kdnssd and that one is really undefined. strange. you're running knode from within KDE or within another window manager?
see the "startkde: starting up" in the log file?
ok, it seems adrian found something ..
my one was different, this one should be fixed by a fix from takashi in alsa. can you test with the packages from ftp.suse.com/pub/people/adrian/SL10.0-alsa/ please ?
> and that one is really undefined. strange. you're running knode from within > KDE or within another window manager? Currenlty I am runnin it in gdm and gnome. Not in kdm and kde, but I have seen this crash in both.
Even with the fixed packages above?
(In reply to comment #11) > Even with the fixed packages above? No, I not that far in the testing. Just got in this morning and was replying to the questions above. I am downloading it down and will be testing shortly.

Yes, already checked in.
