Description Alexey Eremenko 2005-09-03 21:11:45 UTC
Bugzilla must have voting system, like in Mandriva, where users can vote
for bugs/feature requests, showing to developers that this or that issue
is important to many.
Comment 1 Nicolas Dubail 2005-10-28 21:07:46 UTC
Found this bug while searching for a voting system.
Comment 2 Martin Lasarsch 2006-01-09 12:37:15 UTC
Christoph: any news on that?
Comment 3 Christoph Thiel 2006-01-09 12:46:17 UTC
No, unfortunately I didn't had the time to drive the internal discussion to a conclusion yet. But I'll try to make sure to retrigger it this week. Stay tuned.

Bugzilla.novell.com already has a voting system. Each product team must decide for themselves whether to enable the voting feature.
Comment 5 Christoph Thiel 2006-01-09 16:27:56 UTC
Right - we are in the process of discussing this ;)
Comment 6 Vance Baarda 2006-01-09 16:35:59 UTC
Understood -- my comment was mainly for the benefit of the reporter.
Comment 7 Christoph Thiel 2006-01-26 01:18:02 UTC
I'v just contacted the bugzilla team to enable voting for SUSE Linux 10.1. Stay tuned -- I'll report back to the openSUSE mailinglist as soon as this change is in place.
