Allow ethereal to decrypt krb5 blobs when you have a keytab
Last modified: 2005-09-06 20:18:22 UTC
Please add http://samba.org/~metze/ethereal.spec-01.diff to our ethereal package. aj: As this is a feature (even if just changes to our spec file) I would like to see your approval. gd/ jra: Any comments? I think this is very usefull for us and the Samba development. 17:56 < metze_detached> lieschen: can you apply 17:57 < metze_detached> http://samba.org/~metze/ethereal.spec-01.diff 17:57 < metze_detached> to the suse build 17:58 < metze_detached> then you can decrypr krb5 blobs when you have a keytab 17:58 < metze_detached> works fine for me on 9.3
Ok, if it gets submitted in the next 24hours.
Metze: I've replaced krb5 krb5-client krb5-devel by kerberos-devel-packages which is resolved to MIT or Heimdal Kerberos. Please check if this is ok for you. gd: Please test with the ethereal from stable in the next days. Changes submitted to stable. checking whether to use kerberos... yes checking krb5.h usability... yes checking krb5.h presence... yes checking for krb5.h... yes checking whether the Kerberos library is Heimdal or MIT... MIT checking whether MIT includes krb5_kt_resolve... yes checking whether krb5.h defines KEYTYPE_ARCFOUR_56... no
thanks!
