Missing close "X" on SUSE Greeter with german (and maybe other languages) text
Last modified: 2005-09-08 13:13:37 UTC
After the first start of KDE the SUSE Greeter starts up. Using the desktop with german language, the text in the greeter seems to be longer than in english. The result is, that the red closing "X" at the right-bottom of the window is just a litle bit visible. This may lead to confusion for some people because you can't resize or close the window. See the attached screenshot. After pressing Alt+F3 and resizing the window, you can see that the text is too long for the static backgroundimage. => it looks unattrictive! This issue may apply to other languages too!
Created attachment 49077 [details] SUSE Greeter that don't fits the text
that was just the beta text which was a bit large. But I made the font one pixel smaller too
