Description Joe Shaw 2005-09-07 16:08:39 UTC
Using the Helix backend, if you're using some other sound app (like RealPlayer)
and you try to play something, it will act as though it's playing: the play
button turns to a pause button, and the little playing indicator appears next to
the song, but the song doesn't play and the time progress bar doesn't move.
Clicking on the pause button doesn't do anything.

When I first try to play, I get this on the console:

Helix Content State Changed: Stopped -> NotLoaded

and any time I try to play a track, I get a single colon (":") on a line by itself.

"It doesn't happen with the Helix backend, but then again,
I can't get the Helix backend to play anything right now."

I'm a bit unclear on the current state of things for you, Joe. Again, this is working for me currently with both engines.

We preload libaoss for the sake of the Helix engine. Is this resolved with the latest version (0.10.4)? Can we close?
Comment 3 Joe Shaw 2006-01-25 21:32:11 UTC
Seems to work fine for me now.
