Description Timur Mehrvarz 2005-09-08 07:49:01 UTC
In SuSE 9.3 installation on ASUS K8S-MX (a cheap but good AMD64 motherboard) is
possible, but after the reboot the kernel-default is not able to mount the root
filesystem anymore. You need to manualy modify /etc/sysconfig/kernel and
recreate the initrd file including all SiS, VIA and sata modules in order for
the system to boot again.

I hope that this get fixed by the time SuSE 10.0 final ships.

If interested I can provide my /etc/sysconfig/kernel (allthough I'm not sure it
is the minimal required, at least it is working!).
