Bugzilla – Bug 116082
No error message when entering wrong passphrase for encrypted partition while installation
Last modified: 2005-09-13 13:33:52 UTC
When doing some tests for bug 113664, I noticed that there is no error message in YaST if I enter a wrong passphrase for my encrypted partition while installation. This means: - obviously, the encrypted partition is not mounted (according to "mount" and the (missing) content of the mountpoint - the user is *NOT* informed about that failure Please let YaST check for mount success and show a message on failure.
Created attachment 49352 [details] y2logs - please grep for "/data2" mountpoint
This is an update. Jiri, please have a look.
Andreas, may I add a new error report for this case now?
Yes, please.
Done, package submitted to STABLE. Unfortunatelly, I had to add a new text to packager.pot. Craig, would it be possible to have it translated at least for the most important languages? If not, just close this report as FIXED (english is better than nothing) #. yes-no popup #: src/modules/RootPart.ycp:589 msgid "Incorrect password. Try again?" msgstr ""
We won't have time to add new text for this release as the final Language rpm's are created. I'm going to closed as fixed as per Jiri's comment
