Description dennis arkwright 2005-09-10 16:44:50 UTC
I downloaded the OpenSuSE 10.0 RC1 ISO image for X86_64 disk 1 with no errors.
When I went to install the OS I got to the Yast main screen but it gave errors
on reading the media on that CD so could not go further. I donwloaded the same
file three times from your web site and burned it with K3b as an ISO image using
the default settings. I could not find the MD5 hash anywhere to compare the
downloaded image MD5 has to it. Has anyone else had this problem and where are
the MD5 hashes for these downloads?

md5 hashes e.g from: http://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/Mirrors/ftp.opensuse.org/
opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS-RC1/iso/

Please, check those MD5sums, and if they are correct try to provide YaST logs of
your failing installation.

Thanks

No response, probably media or drive error.
